Which crankcase has a single hole in it below the venturi the Tee Dee or the Medallion?

Neither. Both came from the factory undrilled for the pressure tap. JB weld in the hole will close it up if its not needed.
There are some differences in the crankcases between the early TD's and the later ones. At the transition period these new crankcases were stamped with a 2.

Sorry another brain fart. I meant the crank. One has a single hole and the other is elongated.

Elongated square hole is TD and the single round hole is Medallion. This is the same from .049 to .15 between the 2 engines.
