What is the value of a Cox red plastic Shrike tether car?
Does anyone know the value of a Cox red all plastic Shrike tether car? I am considering purchasing one and wonder what a real value is for one of these cars.

Well I purchased the red plastic Shrike to see what shape it is in. My interest is to clean it up and resell it. I know it is missing the ring around the propeller, but I don't think I will be able to find one anywhere.
here is a picture of the top.
and the bottom.
If anyone knows a source for Shrike parts please PM me.

Bad timing I guess HappyDad.
Up until recently, someone was selling the
prop guard you're looking for on e-bay. Maybe if someone
here knows who it was, you could contact him.
If I recall correctly, they were new production replicas.
Nice Shrike though, I've always wanted one myself.

I thought I remembered someone selling the prop guard. I guess I just missed it. Lately I have been in the restoring mode. I am currently working on a Blade SR helicopter.
I thought I would pick up the Shrike and clean it up and re-sell it. The tires looked in good shaped, but if not someone on ebay sells replacement rubber.
Thanks for the comments. I will post pictures as I clean up the Shrike.

Thanks for the comments. I searched the Shrike today on ebay and the asking prices ranged from $20.00 to $150.00. And that is not the closing auction value. I think I did o.k. The shipping costs were average I guess.
I will be posting more pictures as I refurbish the Shrike.
