Hello my son, welcome to the machine, where have you been, its alright we know where you've been...
It's been far too long, Almost a year, I began to worry, began to show fear.
That my interest had faded, and the RC end drawing near
But the tubes are warming, the coils be humming and the machinery a running.
Cast off the covers, dust off the gear
My Coxs' soon will be buzzing, inside all your ears
I'm back.

Hinge tape
So,
I went down to the hobby shop to buy some hinge tape (just until I'm happy with all the moving parts) and man o man, does this stuff feel like medical tape. If I woulda known that they were similar, I would have kept the old role I got after slicing my finger open last year XP

Man, that's a lot of sticks. I'm planning to build my first stick and tissue plane soon. So far I'm still in the Talking about it stage.

Re: Canadian Variant P-51 Build
I say go for it. The only problem I'm having at the moment is the control rods and hinges. Think I got it all figured out though. Guillows makes some awesome kits. Just a word of the wise, if your going for a non laser cut kit, prepare for alot of custom work (especially on their older kits). Its so damn worth it though.

Re: Canadian Variant P-51 Build
Ok, so, this has been going on for long enough! But alas, all the work is done, All I need now is a warmish day to take it into the garage and skin the beast.
Going to the local hobby shop to pick up a nice can of Sig fuel proof dope, as the little jar I have is almost empty.
Thanks to all for the input and help.
