I'm sorry Eric. I didn't have pets for several years after my divorce. When I met my 2nd wife 7 years ago; she had 3 cats that were quite old. Right after the last one passed, we adopted 3 kittens. I have become very attached to them.

I hope that you've got your electric serviced restored by now.

That's too bad Eric, Did you have him a long time? Once they're not there anymore, the emptyness they leave behind prooves how much you get attached to them.

Losing a pet, dog, cat, or whatever always leaves a void, and you can't even look around without missing them. Our old blond Lab Nilla died while boarding at the vet while we were away at my Mom's brother's funeral. He was a special sort of character too. Nilla was 14, and Uncle Walter, Red, was 80something. We only have Tribble now, a 17 year old indoor/outdoor barn cat, who's finally learned after all these years what the hell I'm talking about, sort of like a dog does. That might explain why she's such a bitch sometimes.

Man, I can't believe how different the weather is only a couple of hundred miles away, if that far. I'll keep quiet about how it is here. Where is Julian, are y'all in the mountains?

Thanks guys, Matt,Bob,Roddie,Ron,Jacob,Rusty,Fred,Lieven ... we had him about 3 yrs. was , has been a hand full , saved from the pound.... he was just getting to start to have a understanding between us. And with my son gone he had really became my Best friend....Sorry I was absent for so long we got power back Sunday 3 day finally got both gens going all set and ready for the dark    the light Thank You !!Was a bad ice storm for  no longer than it was here,160.000 without elect.over nite in Guilford county . Julian north Carolina is in the country , hills and straight aways [ short ] no mountains ..Really good to have somewhere to go when you need it!!   wind advisory now till 12.00 am 35-45 not good flying weather for sure
