I don't know, but my original Glo Bee is on par with the galbreath head.RknRusty wrote:What's the reason for using a flat coil rather than a helical coil. More exposure to the methanol?

Re: Norvel for speed?
Funny, your question about whether Norvel made any stunt engines reminds of me of a couple of years ago when I was trying to learn to do a loop, and I kept thinking speed was the answer. Gotta get faster, faster. Got myself a Tee Dee .049 and still couldn't do it with a 5x3, so I put a 5x4 on it thinking, just need more speed... It's no wonder that poor old Stuntman23 finally gave up the ghost, I had terrorized it with faster and faster figure 9s, going, damn this loop business is hard.
Thank goodness I never had a Norvel back then.

Re: Norvel for speed?
That's funny. Now you spend your time trying to slow things down. At least with the big stuff anyway.
What I want is gobs of torque, slow plane and controlled engine speed.

Re: Norvel for speed?
It's funny looking back, two years ago all I wanted to do was an outside loop without destroying the airplane. You put a tee dee on a stuntman? That's awesome. If my corsair survives the speed contest it's getting a norvel.
