It's proven to be hard work, beyond my ability to do a good job at it. I hope someone will volunteer, but if not, we seem to have a great collective imagination for entertaining each other in one way or another. The speed race is a great addition to our play time, and very educational too. It gets me outside of my routine hobby work and broadens my knowledge of other ways to build and fly.

If one wishes to volunteer, It may be best to speak with Mark Boesen as it's his race.

yep, its gettin about that time, i believe Kim's gonna CD it again this year and we'll probably run it about the same time as last year.

Yeah,
The Skunk Works will be proud to run the Tach Race again. Looks like Stewardess Susie will reprise her role as Official Engine Herder and Post-Run Oiler. She is also talking about some Official T-Shirts on this go. I said sure...if she wants to coordinate it, so she'll be checking in here on her own shortly.
I'll get my new Year-Planner tomorrow and we can set a date. Figure February like last year, after the Holiday Mail Traffic has run it's course.
This C.E.F. is a hopping place! Two flying events and an up-coming Tach Race !

I'm going through some notes from last year's Race, and will post the the rules again as soon as I'm sure I've got the final version we settled on. Of course, we can make changes/tweaks as long as everyone is on board with them.
