TD tach Race!!!!!!!!!!!
Ok fellow TDers!!!
I have decided to CD a TD tach race right here in Oklahoma City. This is seperate from Kim and Travis' tach race just to be clear.
I would like to have a TD .09 stock and unlimited. .049/.051 stock and unlimited class and a stock and unlimited class for TD .020/.010.
Time frame is 1st or second week of November and I will nail down an exact date next week.
I need to know who is going to submit an entry(s) as soon as possible so I can guage if we have enough for each class. Minimum entries in each class would be 3 or else I will have to drop that class.
Let the fun begin!!!!!!

I've got a TD .049 for unlimited, and a TD .010 for stock.

Re: TD tach Race!!!!!!!!!!!
In with a unlimited 049 with backplate pressure also.
As a suggestion,,no bladder tanks, Only backplate pressure or OEM pressure nipple on the side of the intake body on the unlimiteds, will save you alot of headaches Ron.
A nitro percentage idea needed,,whats the limit? lets set that up on here also so everyone knows.
Prop size/pitch?

Can you tell this is my first Rodeo? Lol yeah. It's looking like GPB 24% unless you guys want me to use My 30% Heli Castor blend. I know the GPB is safe and your engines are my top priority.
Prop is Cox rubber duck 5x3 for the .049/.051
7x3.5 for the .09
3 blade 3 1/8 x 2.5P for the .020
3dx 1.25P grey comp prop for the .010

Re: TD tach Race!!!!!!!!!!!
What exactly is your 30% heli castor blend?.
Was thinking along the lines of a 30% maximum nitro fuel.

I can buy anything you guys want to use so if there is a general consensus I'm game.
The Heli fuel is 30% with 23% Synthetic oil with castor added by me.

You have time to figure it out. They can be finicky. That rear tank gasket must have a good seal for these things to run right.

I have tried 4 kinds of fuel now, with no luck. I am using a Perfect 3.4oz tank.

Make sure you can blow air through the needle valve inlet. Dried castor can plug these up. Also clean the intake venturi in denatured alcohol. Use a tooth brush bristle to poke into the 3 small Venturi holes.

If you do, I will run it against mine. It would be nice if we could get one more. Actually not as much participation as I thought there would be.
