The hazards of hotel building
You may leave in a hurry and leave your freshly built Twister wing in the closet!

4hr round trip, surely it's cheaper to buy new balsa than a tank of gas.
I could ask one of the local guys to grab it. Would be expensive to ship back though. It's a constant chord wing. Maybe I should just build another. The LE was kind of warped anyway.

Ohhhh.... .......... it's people with "sleep apnea" that do those kind of things... and they also drive the 4 hrs. to retrieve... if you re-build... it'll never fly right... and you'll curse yourself for leaving your 1st behind... (am I making you feel guilty yet?)Cribbs74 wrote:4hr round trip, surely it's cheaper to buy new balsa than a tank of gas.

Dude ! Get a local guy to grab it and just hang on to it ! You're bound to go back through at some point!
It ain't just the balsa and glue...there's TIME invested in that sucker !!!

Re: The hazards of hotel building
Well,
I decided to make a couple phone calls today and as luck would have it I was able to get a hold of the head house keeper along with some guys I worked with the wing is now safe.
The one guy travels through OKC frequently and said he will deliver next time he comes through.
