Well the plan does say any 0.049 size engine, but that's Pee Wee in it
and it's not a scale model. I expect someone will suss the designer
if not the model. John

No John but most of our great British designers did, this one is from the US
and as far as I know he died in the 90's.
I was hoping to see other peoples builds on here rather than get hung up
on my one.

Re: Who is Building
Wingspan is 30 " a little big than the original design, I scale a 110 % the plan of Joe Wagner.
Not kit.
I think is very easy to build.
Here is the plan.

Nice build, you have inspired me to try harder, and plan makes nice reading, jmcalata wrote:Wingspan is 30 " a little big than the original design, I scale a 110 % the plan of Joe Wagner.

5deg left thrust is most unusual. Generally a varied amount of right thrust to
control size of left powered circle. Can't wait to see video. John

That is the first time, in MANY years of modelling, that I have ever seen LEFT side thrust specified on a drawing! I would expect it to screw itself into the ground!

Re: Who is Building
Maybe it specifies a left hand engine?
Or has that AND right rudder to increase drag and slow the model.

Re: Who is Building
Tis the season. I'm about to build two simple Com-Bats. I want to build a Baby Flightstreak with a Tee Dee .049 this year. Might buy it for my birthday.

Well, you've got two sort of trainers there, and two that look quite hot, really depends what you're looking for, do you want screaming performance, docile flight, or just looks?
How experienced a pilot are you? Difficult to advise on such different models without further info!

I am an average flyer. No problems with an Eagle 2. My dad is experienced though. I never have had issues with over controlling. I am fairly adept at CL. I fly CL Combat.
