How disappointing for spectators as well as those like Kim that spent so much time designing advertising campaigns and spending tax dollars and time in anticipation of a fun event. Maybe Kim can arrange to have their plywood Snowbird dropped from 30,000 feet onto the front steps of the Canadian budgetary offices.

That really stinks... what a bummer.

I'm thinking lemonade. Think of all those airshows Kim can book now for 2014. The shows wanted a Snowbird, they can have one. Kim just has to be ready to travel....

Re: Cape Girardeau's Christmas Holiday Float...The Baby Snowbird's Last Installment!!!!!
The Baby Snowbird made an appearance at our Air Festival a couple weeks ago, parked next to the Canadian Snowbird's autograph tent, and I was honored to photographed with this great bunch of guys!
They all signed the nose of our Snowbird before we towed it away to storage. Don't know about it's future, but I DID disassemble, cocoon it in plastic and park it in one of our new storage buildings.
John and Rory couldn't resist conducting some "Ramp Operations the night before.

Re: Cape Girardeau's Christmas Holiday Float...The Baby Snowbird's Last Installment!!!!!
Our airport manager here at Cape copied me on this video presentation he and his assistant put together for some contest they hold among airshow organizers. Haven't heard if he won or placed, but figured we should have at least gotten an honorable mention.
Funny (or not so) thing about the politics between the City Fathers and Cape's Airport in that we were not listed or mentioned in anything to do with the parade. Go figure!
