Re: Cox .010 appreciation thread
Well, something is going on with my posting photos...keep getting a note that the images I'm trying to down load are "too large or corrupted" . Even tried reloading the ones I'd posted previously with the same result. Don't know if the problem is with my computer or at the site.
Everybody else's photos loading OK ?

Yeah, something is wrong...got a different computer and still can't load photos. Figure I'll back off, shut down, and try later...

I don't bother, I just have albums at Photobucket dedicated to pictures for forums. I keep extra smilies that I like there too.Kim wrote:Well, something is going on with my posting photos...keep getting a note that the images I'm trying to down load are "too large or corrupted" . Re: Cox .010 appreciation thread
The R250 is a very nice competition engine. Very pricey, but beautifully made and they are very easy to start and go like rockets. These two are using in Vintage Combat and Diesel Goodyear racing.
Other fine small diesels I have and use in free flight are Mills .75cc, MPJet .6cc, Schlosser .25cc

Ok I see what you mean... you cant upload photos to the Gallery. If you use the "Host an Image" option you can put the image into a message, but the actual image file is hosted somewhere else

Hey Warren,
I was using the same method as before...go to my album...hit "upload pic"...which gives me the page for the photo's title and comment...hit browse...then get a tag saying my files are too large or corrupted. Now, it's add the photos in a real 'pixilated' version!
Not sure how the "hosted" deal works, but will mess with it and see if I can get it to work.

The reason you are getting a "too large or corrupted" message is because I have no more gallery storage space left. I will type more about it very soon! I can add more space but it is not a one time buy, it has to be renewed every month. I'll see what I can do.
Re: Cox .010 appreciation thread
Here is my contribution to the .010 appreciation thread.
The .010 isn't in my collection yet, but it is an incredible manufacturing accomplishment I would think.

Hey !
Thanks! I always assume that I've clicked on something by accident and changed some setting. If there is an extra expense for adding memory, and you have a Paypal account, I'd be glad to chuck in a little cash to help support this forum...been having a blast trading notes with these guys.

It's truly hard to believe that these can be "fly-a-day" engines. With their minute size, a person would think that just getting them to run and showing off their engineering would be a big enough deal...let alone hanging them on an airplane and flying it!
My little example from the 1990's has been run hard on several planes, and is STILL a good-natured little powerplant.

Re: Cox .010 appreciation thread
yes they have a remarkably long working life for their size but i am even mire fascinated by engines smaller than the 0.010 as some of you laredy know i have several tiny deisels smallest one is 3 times smaller than the 0.010.
