And I just read that Asiana Airlines is suing the TV channel for damage to their reputation. "Crashed a 777? Nope. Reputations fine. Read a prank pilot list? Okay, Buddy! You ruined our reputation! We're suing you for.... Umm, how much are we gonna have to pay out to the passengers?"

Honestly, is this worthy of honoring a law suit? Poor taste when associated with the tragic loss of life, yes but if it had been said .... a month or two prior .... or even the day before!! But law suit??? Personally I hope the case is thrown out of court. Am I wrong in my assessment??

If, as I suspect, the news producer and prompter reader were just brain dead and trying to beat the competition with the "news" ----I do not think a lawsuit by the airline is worthy of the courts time.

That said, if some ninny finds the inter office memo, and the list of names ran the proper gauntlet of fact checking, and they all had a great laugh and then DECIDED to air it anyway ----just to be infamous, quirky, and cute for ratings purposes.. Then yes, ask for millions and settle for $700K

Well, the suit is being filed in a South Korean court, so I don't know how that's going to work. The station may just say, "Come and get us, ppphhhtttt!"
