This thread makes me feel lucky that I can pop into just about any industrial fastener shop and they'll have every metric and SAE screw or nut ever made. The 5-40 screws are often labeled as 1/8" on the box...

The closest Ace is up in Miami, I'd rather have a root canal than go there, Homestead had Ace, Sears, and many Mom and Pop hardware stores, now if its not at Walmart or Home Depo
you can't find it.

He probably came down here for the crop dusting, a lot of farming even now. Mary Gaffney lived down here somewhere also, she ran a flying school. I remember my dad driving us to watch her fly her Pitts when I was very young. Two great American aviators.
