Wanted: Piston reset tool for .09.

Nope, there are NONE on the auction site. I'm always "a day late or a dollar short" Smile Story of my life, etc...

I saw one old listing on eBay that was for a "Cox PISTON / ROD RESET TOOL for .020 .049 .051 .09 Airplane Engine" . There wasn't one tool that fit all those, was there? I take it that the *instructions*, not the tool itself, covered all those engines.

I better quit, before I confuse myself, even more.

Thanks...I should have checked there, FIRST, but it's not a highly sought after/common item.

You just never know what Bernie gets or where he gets them from Wink

Kind of off topic, but I was looking at auctions the other day, and saw several sellers with quite a few (12-18) Cox engines, and wondered: "where do these guys get all these Cox engines from?"

I might have to start hitting up some of these "Estate Sales" in my area...I know some of those guys on eBay aren't "collecting". They are straight up buying and selling!

I've been to the local Bi-Yearly flying club swap meet. They ask eBay-like prices, for sure. I bought 2 props, and an old wedge tank. Smile

Doesn't help the fact that this is off topic... but I have yet to find something Cox related at a garage sale. I did find a product engine at a thrift store once but from all the times I have been to each thrift store, you would think they would show up. Garage sales are just starting to pop up everywhere and there will likely be even more of them this weekend.
