Somehow the "roundy round" thing is not very appealing as it lacks the third dimension found in CL flying: impacting the GROUND.
But, if you enjoy ice-tethering, by all means do it!

i get both points,
i dont really like the Ice tether car racing.
but i like cars a lot.
it still looks like fun just not as much as flying in the air.

a special thing about tether cars is that they are THE fastest model cars around. only with them can you reach speeds in excess of 180 mph.

the tether one is over 200mph.

Thats only the racing ones most common folks ones run on a tether in parking lots.
They usually run inside walled tracks to prevent the plane impersonations...
