Crap! did it again.........
Put in a bid on a .010 and walked away knowing I wouldn't win. Well I did. That's the second time I've done that. Last time John Boy bailed me out. So in short, If I don't sign on tomorrow it's because my wife has smothered me in my sleep.

NFS, only because your grammar was poor.
Just kidding Tom!
Seriously though, I actually had "hands on" with this one and it's an early one with very little to no run time. If I was to sell it then I would have to make a profit and there isn't much wiggle room to do so.
I only have one .010 and this will be my spare. I appreciate the offer though.
You can drool over it if you wish......

I haven't decided yet but, I would rather have an engine on hand and no kit for it then the other way around.
Ebay has been flooded with "rare" .010's and .020's lately and I hope that sends the prices down to a more realistic level. $56 for a NIB .020 may very well be due to the amount that are up right now.
There was a seller a couple days ago who had a 10 count .020 lot posted but, he pulled it last minute as the bids were low. I bet folks were watching that lot and didn't bid on the NIB .020. all speculation of course. Timing is key..........

Always good to go in with a strategy. Well, 1 dozen and she will be curious, 2 dozen and your good for the evening. So go with 1.5 dozen

Was that a plea for sympathy from Ron or a not too thinnly disguised boast?

Perhaps a bit of both Dave! Thing is I would say I paid a fair price not a great price for it. IMO anyway.

Heads up, Cribbs74. Use care with a dozen unless you are talking dough nuts. Gave a dozen roses to my ex-wife once because I got a good deal on them. Very bad move.
She wanted to know what I had done wrong this time. Never convince her I hadn't done any thing wrong.Oh well, never did that again.

Methinks our friend Ron is a poor poker player because his "buff" was called and he wound up buying an engine because no one bid against him.

Re: Crap! did it again.........
You guys got no sense of romance!
I recently took my wife to the "Cavalia"* performance in Redmond, WA. Checked into a motel, had dinner, went to the show, returned to the motel and spent the night before driving home the next day.
* "Cavalia" is a world-renown combination of equestrian and acrobatic events. (We both like horses)

Crap: did it again
Don't think Cribbs74 was talking about romance, sounds like he's more into self preservation, what with the talk about the pillow in the middle of the night.

I am about to leave town for a few days. Hopefully she won't look at the bank statement till then and the dust will settle before I get home. I shall arrive with flowers, chocolate, gifts and tickets to something romantic per the suggestions given.
Or I could play it cool and tell her to stop fussing and start cooking.....
