049 Tee Dee needle valve bodies and 049 TD engines - Potential flaw
Anyone who had purchased either an 049 Tee Dee engine or 049 needle valve body from us prior to August 22 / 2024 should have received an email from us today.
If you have purchased an engine or NVB before August 22 and have not received this email, please check your spam / junk mail folder.
We have discovered a flaw that affects some of the needle valve bodies, and are being proactive in reaching out to customers that may potentially be affected by this flaw.

Re: 049 Tee Dee needle valve bodies and 049 TD engines - Potential flaw
I received. A message for now I don't know if my engine has this small defect but I will check my engine I ordered a while ago but I haven't used it yet in fact it is still in the box in the package I will inspect the engine to see the needle valve bodies oups Yes indeed the part is defective even if it is not so serious because I was keeping this new engine for the future but it is a good thing that I am informed of this problem because the day came to use it it would have become a real problem
Know that I will always remain a big fan of Cox International and am always very satisfied to be able to find new parts. I hope that this does not cause any problems for the company and I intend to continue shopping at Cox International.

David,
Your engine does indeed have a NVB where the hole was drilled incorrectly. We also responded to your email and advised that we would be supplying you with a replacement part when available, hopefully by the end of November.
So sorry for the inconvenience.
