Hello All
Thanks guy`s. I made the parts to join the engines because I wanted to have a twin and I had seen a few made with the Cox .049 Baby bee`s. I have seen twins also made with the Cox TD .049 but none had been made with the surestart cox .049. I still would like to see if I can adapt a small carburator to be able to control engine rpm before building a plane. I would like to thank all the guys that voted for our engines they made the contest fun. Thanks again.
Juan

Juan, what sets yours apart is you made well use of a common product engine to provide something out of the ordinary. Also, I think given its uniqueness, you could have the engines coordinated to fire simultaneously or alternating equally 180 degrees out. Also, you could do interesting experiments with other firing angles, perhaps close to a Harley-Davidsons 52 degrees or close thereof. (However, since 2 stroke, I don't think we'd get the po-ta-toe po-ta-toe at idle. )F4D Phantom II wrote:I made the parts to join the engines because I wanted to have a twin and I had seen a few made with the Cox .049 Baby bee`s. I think once you find a plane to mount it in, even a simple profile C/L, and especially if posting a demo flight of it in action, will generate quite a following here.
