Willy Nillies saga
I received the "Second Chance" order from WN. They must have sent it out early the next day after I ordered! There was a $5 bill stapled to my packing list. It was a refund for the aluminum landing gear I had ordered. There was some candy and the Christian cards that others have found in their own shipments. Included was the following handwritten note:
So, perhaps it is safe and feasible to order from Willynillies.com, again. Time will tell. If you're reading this, Doug or Becky: Thank you, and I hope this finds you well and prosperous! May our business relationship be healed and straightforward from here on out.

Re: Willy Nillies saga
Sorry, I was just continuing the response from the old thread...
I ordered last December 4th. I never received that order. WN never responded to any enquiries over the 6 months since. I got PayPal involved and they returned my money from the first order .From the "tone" of the e-mail I received back, it was NOT the first time or perhaps all the documentation I sent with my claim showed overwhelming due diligence. The first e-mail was a simple "We have received your claim, yadda yadda.. it will take up to two weeks to review and respond... " 36 hours later it was in my bank.
I made a second order, that was similar to the first order. As I have stated, all along: I wanted the kit and parts, not my money back. I felt safe, knowing PayPal had my back. This second chance order came in very quickly... I will document its build on here. I haven't decided on a powerplant for it. TeeDee .020 with a sosam choke/carb and silencer w/diesel conversion head, G-Mark .030 w/Kamcetnik (sp?) Turbo Glow Plug head, or just any one of several adequate or overpowered electric motor setups that I have.... orrrrrr, last but definitely most: An .05 r/c; TeeDee .049 with a K/K exhaust throttle sleeve (thanks sosam) and 128 tpi needle... fellow on Facebook WN Group Saya he's getting near 80mph with that setup. That's with a generously fat Clark-Y airfoil. I'm betting that his elevator trim thumb has a fat callous on it! May I make a mini poll, Mr. Admin? Let the people pick?

Thank you, Jacob. I hate being whiny, but which forum would be appropriate? I just don't want to offend anyone. It's a diesel/glow cox; glow off-brand; or electric...

Asking to choose between a selection of glow and diesel engines, and electric for your model? You could post it in General Questions, or Models and Modeling. Either forum would be suitable.
