Willy Nillies' Super Simple Series GLH 250 - Laser Cut Balsa Kits
Well... Christmas came early this year!
A box was waiting at the door this evening and inside were packages containing my favorite building material....BALSA!! Even better...how about new laser cut "1/2A" & electric powered R/C balsa kits in 2019! Mine will be powered with a .020 TD.
YES, Willy Nillies' GLH 250 kits have arrived, along with a few surprises for my daughter and a kid in the neighborhood....Jetco Thermic Trio Glider kits. Also included were four rolls of Willy Nillies' Covering Material, which I will be using on a GLH 250. Thanks Doug & Becky!
I have to say, I'm really impressed with the packaging and labels on the kits. Lots of care and pride is put into each product and you notice immediately.
I hope to get started on the build this week or this weekend at the latest.
Check out the fine products and much more coming soon at: www.willynillies.com

Re: Willy Nillies' Super Simple Series GLH 250 - Laser Cut Balsa Kits
Thanks guys! I plan to start a little work on the GLH tonight.
In the meantime, here's an RC Groups post from Willy Nillies' Owner, Doug Hart on models that are in work for kit production.
RC Groups thread: https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?3371469-Willy-Nillies-1-2A-Model-Requests-for-250g-Series
Hi Guys,
I have the Sig Hummer 250 finalized and ready for production already :-)
The SST is nearly ready
The Ace Alpha has been prototyped
The Ace High has been prototyped...
Q-tee/S-tee are in development
Jr Falcon/Jr Skylark are in development.
Honker and Honker Bipe have been prototyped
Pretty much every 1/2 a Ace R/C kit is in some stage of development.
I'm open to what you all want to see next, just need your feedback.
Sincerely,
Doug (and Becky)

Yeah, gonna have to try one of those GLH's, or a "Mach None" if one of those show up. For old time's sake, I may drag out my old Cannon R/C gear and see if I an get it's servos to wiggle...

Really beautiful! I also wrote them last week to check if they ship to Hungary because I slso miss a good kit for my TD 020-s, and they do!. Will follow your build and maiden flight experience then will place the order.

Fuse assembly is done!
No instructions included in the kit, so I followed Doug's video (link below)….super easy! I added the glow engine/Cox .020 firewall and used epoxy to attach it.
Quality of the wood and fit is outstanding. Thin CA used with capillary tube. By far, my fastest 1/4A fuse "kit" build! Kudos to Doug Hart, Willy Nillies' Designer!
On to the wing!

Re: Willy Nillies' Super Simple Series GLH 250 - Laser Cut Balsa Kits
Super!!! I tend to use galvanized steel or hard aluminum wood nuts embedded in the backside of the firewall, because the wood mounting screws simply drilled into the firewall will not hold long ...no matter how you fuel proof it, castor may soon soak it and the wood screws will give way. Just my humble idea..sorry if you planned it and I smart-as....d too early.
