A song by Roddie
I made and uploaded this video to YouTube about ten years ago.. but I wrote the song back in the late 1980's. It's an instrumental titled "Theme from the Sea". I'm using a Technics digital piano with a Kurzweil "Micro Piano" module via MIDI for the violins/strings effect, through an analog Mackie CFX12 mixing console, QRC RMX850 power-amplifier and a pair of Yamaha S112 speaker cabs.
It's the first piece written for what has become what I'm calling; a nautical suite. There are seven other compositions of the same Nautical genre, which have been needing my attention, but like most of my model creations.. they're not finished... yet.
I hope you enjoy this one.

Although I am young I love all kinds of music and I know how to recognize talent when I see it or hear it roddie you are very talented it's a magnificent sound and would be crazy in a film I can imagine it The actor who walks alone, a little melancholic about the past as he crossed the street of his childhood Remembering the past

Very nice roddie, I’m impressed! I can tell you took keyboard serious and put a lot of time into it ….And to conceive your own melodies is an added but much different talent than just knowing how to play…. Very special, Thanks for sharing …

Yes, I remember Theme from the Sea, there are at least 5 of them.
Here are some more as back ground music in my free flight video's recorded in 2015 and 2016
I got them all on a USB stick to play in my car. It calms me down when sitting in traffic jams!

Re: A song by Roddie
Thanks EVERYONE!!! And Lieven, so cool for you to include some as soundtracks to your vids!! I need a spark to get me "playing more" at least. The writing/creativity element will come soon enough after. My stepson who's been living with us for the last three years, will be moving out at the end of the month. The dynamic changed when he moved in. It's a small house.. and we've all got a lot of crap.. stuff.. things.. differing work/sleep schedules.. My music-production set-up/workstation has remained in the room that he's been in.
So................... the dynamic will change again soon.

Hi Roddie,
Very Cool...
As a Nautical theme,
It reminds me of setting up an Iceboat and going out for a great day.
Thanks for sharing...
Take care,
Have fun,
Dave
