Yes I’m hoping so. I’m going to put a exhaust throttle sleeve on it as well powered by a Nano servodavidll1984 wrote:I like the color trim of this engine You could call her the golden widow
And surely this engine should give good results in this plane

Re: Testers Sprite engine swap
I’m going to need a very light weight battery to run my radio. I prefer 6 volt but I may have to settle for 4.8. Any ideas or suggestions ?? A 2 cell lipo will be too much voltage . Thanks guys

Re: Testers Sprite engine swap
Good morning Gents. Been working a lot at the salt mines. Finally got a few minutes to myself so I opted to spend some time on this thing. Got the firewall installed with #2 screws and Modified Golden bee installed on it. Looks great. Pictures to follow. Next step after engine is run in on test stand to install the exhaust throttle for speed control along with a nano servo and micro receiver. Also picked up a lite weight 4.8 volt battery to power the radio for speed control. More later

Re: Testers Sprite engine swap
Notice the port side elevator. It droops downward. I do not know how this would affect its flying quality’s but I do want to fix it. Since the decals are on the top side I think I will use a heat gun from the other side. Carefully and oh so gingerly apply just enough heat so that I can prop it up back level and let it cool. If anyone has some additional suggestions I’d be willing to dance at your next wedding Lol
