New Years resolutions.........
My standard - No more plastic airplanes. I might be able to keep it since I secured the rather scarce Cox TD-4. But, that's it.........he said once again.
Do you have one, keepers or non-keepers?

Re: New Years resolutions.........
all good resolutions 🥳but remember if you need meds for BP, Sugar, Colest... etc. you need them. sometimes its hard to get off of meds. I need them for my brain 🤯 and because of those meds my Sugar etc is mucked up and I need meds for that. I walk 5 miles every day to try and reduce the need for meds.
This year will be a good year I got a new gig at work, working on design, development, test of new Over The Horizon radars.

Five miles a day Gary, that's quite the jigger. Ought to cure you right up. I'm lucky, I require no drugs, but that doesn't keep my back from killing me.
Good luck with your new assignment.
Bob

Re: New Years resolutions.........
while we are bearing our souls.... I've been retired since last February and I hope that I accomplish more moving forward; than I have in the last 11 months.
I resolve to be more productive in ways that really satisfy me. Many of you know that I'm a musician. Music has been on the stove's back-burner for longer than it's ever been with me. I don't know what to make of that.. but it's eating at me. I've thought quite a bit about auditioning a guitarist/vocalist to collaborate with for a possible professional duo for hire. I'm cautiously apprehensive because; the older we get.. the more set in our ways we become. I've always been a "go with the flow" submissive type.. but I've also paid a price for it. A bit of a conundrum for me now; when it comes to seeking-out someone to work with. It's something that I'm just going to have to do.. and if it's not a "good fit".. I'll know early-on and make a change.
If and when there's anything worth posting in that respect; I'll add it to this THREAD.

Re: New Years resolutions.........
Having formally retired last November but still working part time, I resolve that I will soon indeed stop working in my profession, and concentrate on many other things that my 40+ years of obsession with my job has kept me distanced from...will restart learning French again...travel a lot to tropical places, and explore e.g. some Southern US states where the blues originate from and Spanish moss hangs from evergreen trees...and drop at least 10% of my current body weight too...( this seems to be the most challenging resolution, given the cooking skills of my wife)...and of course ride my little Honda, and fly the heck out of all my COX powered planes as well as build new birds from kits like another Cosmic Wind and Lil'Roughneck ....ooops, this seems to be a bit too extensive list for just one year...
