Thank you for the glorious gallery of "Flying Fortress" pictures. I hope everyone noticed the famous Norden bombsight shown. (A subject of considerable interest to aviation fans)
Living very near the Boeing plant where "Forts" were built when I was a kid I have a particular interest in them and their history both during and following WWII. Static or in flight they are very impressive and inspirational.
Edit: I corrected my error. The B-17 "Flying Fortress and the B-29 "Super Fortress are two different aircraft both built by Boeing.

I had one in my collection at one time Pretty cool to have one of the most top secret things during WW2.
