Cox recommends 7 X 3.5 but 8 X 4 will work as well but will result in lower RPM.

The Texaco was meant to be used during endurance events, something like 15 minute flights. Contributing to this was a hugely oversized prop turning at 5,000 RPM; hence the 5-fin, extra cooling, glow head.

An original Top-Flite 7x4 wood prop really makes it look nice.
