Name That Glowhead Contest!
Here's a photo that might be of interest to members.
Most of you know the Leroy Cox was the first manufacture to offer a glowhead as standard on his Thimble-Drome engines and soon every engine manufacture realizing the advantages of both marketing as well as performance were making them.
Here's a photo of different glowheads, with one manufacture glowhead not shown (I forgot) your mission is to name them! The winner receives all to himself: The total warm glow of VICTORY!
(I had posted this awhile back on my 049 Collectors web site and ask those that had seen this before and know the answers refrain from playing)

Hint: These are all .049 glowheads made in the 50's & 60's. All are OEM except one and the one missing is for a .07
Re: Name That Glowhead Contest!
I can only name three also. But I'd like to know which one is like I remember as a kid; the bottom clip of the starter fit under the top fin instead of pressing it onto the top of the top fin. Am I imagining this? I wish they were still like that.

Rusty, you probably figured it out after you posted....that would of been the good old standard Cox head, before the last version came out, also can't do it on a 1702 hicomp.

Oh dear I've got two, I may get another when I check
One of my (whisper it) non coxes later....
When Wilf gets up he'll tell us what day of the week
And weather forecast for the day of manufacture.

Re: Name That Glowhead Contest!
I have four of those, two cox, one Testors McCoy and one Fox (.07?), there is also a wen-mac I think (?), but that's all I can identify...
Edit; There is possibly a Hornet and OK cub there too, but I don't have any of those myself.

Apart from the two obvious ones (cox) here is an answer in terms of an image with a "bonus" one too;
