PeeWee starting issues
I bought four on ebay to fix and sell for fun. Anyway, the first one I've installed a rebuild kit and I still can't get it started, except running on a prime. The backplate is free and clear. I had it run through one tank yesterday at 4.5-5 turns, but it only ran that once. I next replaced the needle valve thinking that might have been the issue. Only weird thing is when I removed the needle and shot prime down in there, fuel came out of the vents. Could the venturi gasket not be sealing? Should I add another?
Re: PeeWee starting issues
A venturi gasket is a good call, yes; an often overlooked item.

A venturi GASKET or a venturi SPACER? See Bernie's catalog to see the difference.

Re: PeeWee starting issues
I added 2 gaskets and it worked great. Just put them up for sale in the for sale section.
Re: PeeWee starting issues
That's why I cut my own gaskets.

The last batch of 020 venturi gaskets I got were too thin. I had to add 2 to make mine work also.
