Welcome. With the Cox Stuka, check this website.
http://www.mh-aerotools.de/airfoils/cox_frameset.htm
Look for "model database" or whatever you want to learn about down the left side.
There will be others here who can probably help more with the Wen Mac P-38.
Rod.

Hi Dennis and welcome.
On the left hand side of the Cox Engine forum home page underneath the Latest Topics column and just above the engine of the month pic there are some sub headings.
Click on the Model Info heading and you will find some excellent info on the stuka and its timeline.
Cheers
Dave

Could be wrong but I think the Wen Mac P-38 had only one engine, the inboard an .049 with the outboard a dummy and free wheeling prop.

Curiously they came both ways George. Or perhaps I should say that I have seen them come both ways. I have lusted after these for years on ebay and other places and have bid on a few. But I refuse to pay $750 to $1000 for a plastic airplane possibly with warped wings and no box.

Interesting, Bob. I've only seen the one with one engine, was a while back, may be 40 years ago, and at a military thrift store, but I wasn't interested as I was into R/C. Given those ridiculously high costs, I'd think one would be better off building 24" Sterling Kit S-14 profile Lightning for two .049's.rsv1cox wrote:Curiously they came both ways George. Outerzone: 24in Lockheed P-38 Lightning from Sterling (Kit S-14)

I think that Ken fly's one of those or one very similar. I built my own to scale with about the same dimensions around 50 years ago. Still have it.
