This engine was bought some years  before I saw Norvels for sale. It looks very much like a Norvel, but unlike a Norvel I remember it being built on the loose side...instead of being tight. The NVA is also fine tooth and works very well with a combat style bladder.

Is that a side exhaust Stels or twin horn rear exhaust? I own a few of both and really enjoy them. I haven't used them in quite a while and I think they've sat too long. I need to get them back out. Once the hi performance ball bearing 1/2A engines were introduced to combat, all my bushed true 1/2A engines were shelved. No longer competitive, they all sit in the cabinet. We allowed Norvel .061's . I have a bunch of Driskill Litehawks that are just calling for the Stels and VA's.

This one is the side exhaust. In the video it was running with crankcase pressure into a 1 oz Hayes tank. It ran just as good as if it was on a bladder.
