Tony (xplaneguy) Visits with the Breezy Hill Flyers
On an afternoon when we were pretty much guaranteed rain and winds, a special and honored guest from California, Mr. Tony (our own "xplaneguy" here on the Forum), got to put in a visit with some of the Breezy Hill Flyers.
He was making an "Exploratory Loop" up into Missouri and Tennessee, before heading back to Mayflower, Arkansas and the Fall S.M.A.L.L. Fly-In.
Fantastically, in place of the predicted rain and wind, we were granted a near-perfect day of cool calm air, with no rain, and a layer of sun-shading clouds.
Tony had a great visit with some of the Breezy Hill's "Core Members", AND had a couple airplanes "forced" him...flying my Vintage Performance Models .049 "Nobler" control liner, and Billy Lang's venerable standby, his much-flown E-Flite Sport Cub. He also got to experience the debut of two new Billy Lang songs, which will be posted here when I get the video crunched.
President Brian put in some flights with his Radian sailplane and his fast delta (the name of which I can't remember at the moment). The the little Nobler also got some laps put on it by Billy, Leo, and myself...so a little bit of action on the hill!
On our way home, I played the part of a tour guide, taking Tony for a quick visit to the airport in Perryville, Missouri, through some twisty hill roads, and with a stop at Tower Rock, on the Missouri side of the Mississippi River (see link below).
It's safe to say that we had a big day, out running around my turf, and am looking forward to another visit, where I can run my mouth about more stuff!

Good to hear from Tony!
He was the one who contacted me for the first time through YouTube and invited me to participate in this beautiful forum, so I will always be grateful to him.
I'm glad you had a great time with all the people there.
Hugs and may those beautiful friendship encounters continue!

Thank You Mauricio!
Tony is traveling on the road, but I'm sure he'll be checking in here before long.
We GREATLY enjoyed his visit at Breezy Hill!
We're now in "The Week of Fall S.M.A.L.L.", and I'll be posting my updates on the thread that Tony has already begun
Best Wishes Friend !!!!!
