Mail Delivery vs Covid 19

A pair of vintage Scalextric racing motorcycle sidecars (another collecting bug of mine) were shipped from the UK on the 18 April. Two days ago, I contacted the sender and he gave me the Royal Mail tracking number. I was more than somewhat distressed to see that it had gone straight to Switzerland.

I’ve had this happen before, also to Netherlands where there is a province called Zeeland.
I guess they don’t teach Geography like they did when I was at school anymore.

I picked up the trail on Swiss Post where two weeks later it left Switzerland on 8th May and disappeared off the radar. Royal Mail or Swiss Post had no further tracking notifications.

Apparently arrived in New Zealand yesterday. It’s not showing on NZ Post system yet but it appears that it’s here so hopefully should show up next week.
