TD .010 snap starter tip

TD .010 snap starter tip
Unlike the other Cox snap starters, the .010 starter does NOT use a plastic "cam" plate. The spring is engaged on the prop and the prop wound CW then released to start the engine.
This was a revelation from the vendor from whom I got my new TD .010. This was unknown to me previous to this revelation.

Several othe engine have a symtarted like this they include the tee dee .020 pee wee.020 and earlier .049s that existed before the cam system was invented.
