Yes, thanx Fred and Ron. Your generosity won't be forgotten. Looks like I have to pick up the pace next year if there is another event.

Re: RWYB winners announced
THANKS! Neato! This was a fun contest and challenge! It involved help from the other flyers in Wichita, to launch and video the flights, for submission to this site!
Their interest in 1/2A engines has grown, and more 1/2A activity around here should increase! I have steered them to the COX ENGINE FORUM. COM, so that they can find more information about these great little engines!
Thanks again! This was a fun one!

Re: RWYB winners announced
Good morning! Allow me to extend my appreciation and thanks to Fred and the others who pitched in to bring life to this event. It was and is a challenge loaded with excitement and enjoyment. It is my sincere hope that this kind of competition can continue and grow offering even greater challenges requiring thinking "outside the box", so to speak!
This is a hobby, our hobby and there's no limitations beyond that of the mind. Let us not be stopped by conventional thinking, naysayers, or driven to follow the so called experts! Fred, showed us the way, he created the challenge, led the "horses to water" and allowed us who accepted the challenge …. to drink! Thank you Fred! And, thank you to my fellow participants.

Mr. Fred ! I do hope you are getting better and stronger with each and every day going forward. Please accept my apology for the delay in saying THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!! Due to a myriad of activities over the past few weeks (not to mention my memory ), I'm just getting to review my files and so forth .
Sir, I want you to know how much I appreciate you for your efforts to encourage this hobby of mine and oh, so many others ! You're are a true inspiration. It would be so neat if we lived closer because I believe we would be having a ball nearly every day. Again, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU !!

Winners paid I hope
Well it was a long tedious contest and I am truly sorry for all the confusion and grief
I sincerely thank the few participants
I think our past Engine speed (RPM) contest were a lot more fun, more participation and a lot of fun....Unfortunately we need volunteers to Be the CD and do the heavy lifting...We burned out the original guys
CD that contest is a bugger bear....
I actually propose we start a fund to pay/compensate a member to set up a future Engine challenge contest

Not sure how that worked, I kind of forgot about this forum for a few years!?. That was all mailed in and then tested at the CD's house? Seems like a video or a snapshot of the motor running with a tach on it would simplify things. Gentlemen's rules would certainly apply for shrinking prop sizes. Thanx Fred. Got an envelope today.

Hi Guys!
I'm still kicking!
Thanks for giving me a nudge to pop into here, again. Got kind of busy with some maintenance and new construction around here.
I'm glad Fred is feeling better, too! We're all back in the game!
Thanks for thinking of me,
GUS.
