Steve and I are setting up canopies at the field this morning. Afterward, I start maiden flights on the Willy Nillies fleet. See you tomorrow!

Kim. How is the "ring winged" aircraft controlled, ie. pitch and yaw etc?

Hey Rod, I'll try to get some better photos of it...I don't know for sure but think it's like a three channel with everything controlled from the rear ring.

Good Times Be Rolli'n !!!
This morning had wind and rain (looks like I'm going right from the air conditioner to the heater furnace in one day), so I spent some time sorting some photos from yesterday. Lots of flying going on in spite of the winds.
My hot-spot internet connection is real slow, so I couldn't do such a good job of proofing...please overlook any boo-boo's!

Wow...Tony and Kim. A big thank you for taking the time to photograph this event for posterity and those of us who could not attend. Just looking at the images brings back many cherished memories as a youth desiring many of those planes and Cox models.
Thoroughly enjoyed the rubber powered preparation pictures.
The .020 Sky Copter engine always needed to be set just right for her to take to the air. Great shots of her desire to fly.
Great single shot of the Quiet Zone Whisper Quiet Trainer in front of the Cox International banner.
Wonderful to see the Cox Cub Trainer (circa 1979) in the air again. Really wanted one back when new but alas...no $.
Inspiring ascent of the Lazy Bee gaining altitude.
Is that partially assembled PT 19 on the table a model available through a manufacturer?
Thank you again for photographing all the fun being experienced at S.M.A.L.L. 2019

Thank you!!!!, and thanks to Jason for the follow-up on the Willy Nillie Plane!
Got a cold windy day today...Tony is restoring a Gentle Lady sailplane back at his room and I'm sifting through videos and photos. I DID send the drone out for a lap around the place, with it's Robot Lady Voice fussing at me the whole time that it was too windy to fly. Still got a little video for photos captures...

Thanks for the photo documentary, Kim.
That Ring Wing is my favorite oddity of the show. And it's good to see the Little Traveler under the sun again.
I have the echo on the show fixed, so drop in and see us if you're up to it tonight.
