TO: C/L fliers everywhere,

Club Rheidt in Niederkassel Germany is again hosting their (non FAI) big event contest held every 2 years. It's predicated on having lots of FUN without the usual seriousness of a World Cup. They have several classes of racing, combat, stunt, and scale. It's renowned for it's very fine beer (and food too). Below are some details copied from the British Barton site. See you there? Check the links to see what you're missing... Here's a taste from 2017.

https://youtu.be/uO87gbA_KGg

Cheers,

Paul G. (Team Canada Mouse race)

The "9th Lassogeier" CL Event (19.-22.09.19) will host

"The 1th Intl. COX Mouse Racing Contest".

The first in COX .049 Reed Valve Mouse Racing history ever.
USA,CAN + GER. are already signed in.

Any C.M.R. Teams out there like from
GB, BEL, NL, FRA, IT, SUI, AUST, ESP ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?
which like to enter this historic C.M.R. event.

Still time left,
to build a Streaker + tune up your COX Black Widow.

https://coxengines.ca/files/MRP.pdf

Below german CMR rules.

Cheers
Buddy

P.S. As a FREE GIFT to those who pre-enter the Cox Mouse Race event. There are 20 custom T-Shirts (courtesy of Cox International) that will be given out to the race team competitors. When registering, please give your T-Shirt size, and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Rules: Cox reed valve .049's only, 20% nitro fuel supplied, 35 foot lines, any design. Can you say FUN!

Looking forward to seeing you in Niederkassel.

p.s. Sorry, for some reason, not all the links transferred properly...  I hope some of our European friends can chime in with more info & better links.

DIE CIRCLE DANCER,!

Wow, now is one of those times I wish I had a better public education system, and learned to speak and read a second language!  I thought I would register, just to get the T-shirt, but I think I’d actually have to go there to puck it up!  Gosh, those guys know how to have fun and drink beer. “

Just lead you into right direction, before we all get lost.
The Circle Dancers Hammersbach Event near Hanau is NOT involved into COX Mouse Racing.
Their Rule, NO running COX at the field at NO time.
The 9th Lassogeier non FAI Event,
is at Niederkassel near Bonn, Aero Club Rheidt which is hosting our
1th. Intl. COX Mouse Race .
Only C.M.R.Teams which show up at the circle will get their FREE
"COX POWERED" Contest T-shirt.
We dont like fake Teams and News either.
An Impression of our 2017 Lassogeier Event.....enjoy.

It's a bit far for me, and I don't have a passport. Sad   Oddly enough I lived near Heidelberg for 25 years, and we had a local Heidelberg beer, and sometimes I went to the closest hotel. The Heidelberg Hotel.  That is Heidelberg Ontario, Canada, near Kitchener (formerly Berlin) where the Octoberfest is held.

Thank you Sir

What a small world , Heidelberg in Ontario.
I belive the "Heidelbergers" from the old world 150 years ago or more
made a damn good beer.
The " Heidelberger Brauerei" Heidelberg is still brewing their famous beer (1601).

I belive you are talking about "Heidelberg Restaurant-Tavern-Motel located
at Road 16 Crossing Libsinger Line next to Kitchener , Ontario,
thats what Uncle Google Maps Shows me.
Did you follow the  "Schuhplattler Dance" @ the Oktoberfest ?.

[/quote]I was more likely to go to the stripper bar than the beer festival tents.  Not really into polka music. (the wife kind of is)  I know lots of people that certainly do go. I lived at 1942?  Lobsinger Line for 18 years about half way between Heidelberg and Wagner's Corners. It was an old order mennonite buggy shop.  I could look out the front yard and see if anyone was flying at the KW Flying Dutchmen model airplane club.  In the 1980s I had a place near the Heidelberg day camp on that Rd. 16. I moved away 10 years ago.  Too much traffic. https://s3-us-west-2.amazonaws.com/usedphotosna/47520042_614.jpg Wunderbar
