New Limited Edition Engine
We are planning to issue another serialized limited Edition Engine and are tending towards the red one we dummied up, as opposed to the two other colour combinations.
There was some discussion around drive-plate and spinner colour but silver seems to tie in well.
If we go with this design, name suggestions would be greatly appreciated and, if we choose one of the names in their entirety, would pro-bono one to the person who came up with the name.

Re: New Limited Edition Engine
The first one looks the best to me too. Sort of fresh, retro look.
But... I am definitely intriqued by the red/gold/Black crankcase, so if you are thinking of getting rid of it, I am interested
Btw are the colour schemes painted or anodized?

Re: New Limited Edition Engine
Just for clarification:
Only the assembled engine is being considered and the two other crankcases are just shown as to what we did not choose, so don't need names for them.
Will probably keep the samples but, if we change our mind, shall advise Kari.
It is anodizing from this company: http://www.gruntbull.com/
We are not taking pre-orders because we have not finalized this yet and, same as with the previous five LE engines, buyers of the last one (CopperHead) will get first dibs at "their" number.

I see 'American Graffiti' as a fitting name.

Looks like a Jackson Pollock creation. Chameleon would be a good name.

Re: New Limited Edition Engine
After reading Bernie's comments, I mistook that he was making 3 different Bees and missed that he was interested in naming the first Bee of silver-red-blue only.
If we think of silver as "white", these are common flag colours to a number of nations. I am listing them regardless of affiliation, love or hate, and I may have missed a few: United States of America, United Kingdom, Russia, Cambodia, Chile, Cook Islands, Cuba, Czech Republic, France, Iceland, North Korea, Laos, Liberia, Martial Islands, Netherlands, Norway, Panama, Slovakia, Thailand, Taiwan, Yugoslavia.
May be a name that sort of ties these together that are more common to multiple peoples would be possible? Or, may be colours should be named after something that does not associate it with any particular country?

Ok, a quick explanation.
Mine is sort-of twofold. "Psychedelic" due to the wild colour scheme, plus the "Psycho" part relates to the blood-spattered fuel tank. (You know the movie!)
So, the combination is "Psycho-delic".
(Wouldn't be the first time many of us have seen a blood-spattered engine. Ow.... )
