Limited Edition "Graffiti Bee" launched :)
https://coxengines.ca/product.php?productid=2108&cat=37&page=1
For those of you who purchased the Limited Edition "CopperHead", you should have received an invitation to purchase our newest Limited Edition engine and you have first right of purchase for "your" serial # until Friday (or longer if you need more time).
On Friday, we will release unsold stock to the general public but there are already a few for sale where we know that they will become available for sure.

Fred,
The order confirmation was based on your profile on our site. The emails I sent last night were off a spreadsheet lol.

I think that's when unreserved numbers can be ordered. If you already have previous engines with a particular number, I think you can reserve them now, if Bernie isn't already holding it for you.getback wrote:So i have to wait till Friday to ask for a number ( if not taken )??

Re: Limited Edition "Graffiti Bee" launched :)
You can reserve numbers right now, whether you purchased a LE engine before or not. Best to email support@coxengines.com and, if you don't receive a reply within one hour (our business hours), please check your spam folder.
On Friday, from the pool of what is left, we will go through "requests" in the order they were received so, the sooner you request a number, the better your chance of you getting it. Best guess is that we will have about 1/2 left for sale.
No, not the "James Bond" lol as a customer of ours jumped on that one within hours of us sending the emails; pending if it is still available on Friday.
#1 is "house" and #100 someone just requested a few hours ago; pending whether if we can get all 5 former # 100 back (estate sale from a former collector). If so, they will be sold as set of 6 engines and, if not, it will go to today's requestor.

And just to clarify: We are holding all 100 #'s until Friday (or longer if requested to do so) for previous buyers of the CopperHead and have emailed all 100 on the list.
However, we have already put some up for sale for the general public; those where buyers have said that will not be buying and those where the buyers have left the planet, so to speak.

Will your engine boxes be customised by putting buyer's name stickers?

Re: Limited Edition "Graffiti Bee" launched :)
Troy: Thanks
Eric: We have replied to your email
Aung: No, sorry. We have to print the box labels 12 at a time (a sheet) and would have to wait every time until 12 are sold (that delays shipping). More importantly, however, is that some buyers may not want this because the engine is a gift to someone else or, in the event that the engine is resold, the name would not match.

Re: Limited Edition "Graffiti Bee" launched :)
To give our customers a bit more time, the decision to release engines that have not been claimed has been deferred to next Tuesday and we shall advise at that time.
Re: Limited Edition "Graffiti Bee" launched :)
Major thanks for keeping the cox engine alive for the old school hobbyist. We truly appreciate your efforts. We are glad that someone is still making these fine engines!!! Mark
