Re: Demon-Clean
Have some Brodak resupply stuff "on the list". Might have to try a can of the Demon Clean.

Good results.
May have to try that in the future.
Re: Demon-Clean
Looks to work well, with a price to match! I wonder what it's made of? The add says it's aluminum safe so it can't be all that caustic.

Re: Demon-Clean
It contains methylel chloride. So far it has worked for almost every engine I have used it on. Years ago Tower was selling it, but the company that made it went under. BJ bought the rights and is now selling it. I have not has to use it on anything Cox. I have other methods of cleaning them.

Methylene Chloride is basically a heavy duty paint stripper.

Re: Demon-Clean
Hence the warning on the lable " may remove painted surfaces". Application couldn't be any easier. Close off all access to the internal parts of the engine, brush on, let sit for 15 minutes to several days and rince with water and a toothbrush. I put the engine in a old toaster oven to be sure it's dried out then lube it.
