Sunday Morning Flying at Breezy Hill "The Video"
A note from my Facebook page and photos from a fun Sunday Morning:
Got in some good flying with the Breezy Hill Boys early Sunday (before the temperatures took off). Over in the Crop Circle, Billy got in tests flights on three new planes, the wildest of which was his restored 1960's 'Count Clipper' combat wing. This monster has a metal belly pan, and is powered by (I think) a Fox .36X.
Leo put in several flights with his faithful Ringmaster, and performed launching duties for Billy while I was running around with a camera.
Lloyd got in a couple good flights with his electric-powered Sig Kadet MkII, cruising the classic high wing around Breezy Hill.
I missed getting footage of Darrel's sailplane, but his was another model that went home in one piece!
I'd brought my S-1 Ringmaster, and decided it was time for it to pack some Go Pro cameras around the Crop Circle. With a 'Session' camera on each wingtip, I got some pretty good footage, and will be combining it with our other flying for a video here. Next plan is to get Leo's Ringmaster in the same circle with mine for some air-to-air video!
We all had some good flying before the heat finally got to us, and everybody took home undamaged planes, so it was another good day on Breezy Hill.

Great stuff Kim. The Count Clipper is one of my favs. I'm glad to own one and I fly the heck outta it. I power mine with a Mccoy redhead, not terribly fast but it's a pretty sleek design and it does move out pretty darn good. It sinks a bit in the bottoms, but I can do all the maneuvers with the Clipper. The Ringmaster wingovers are certainly cool with the camera. Nice report. Ken

Great post there Kim. I always like your shots as you usually have them little cameras mounted aboard the airframe for awesome shots! Thanks again for sharing.

Wow, spectacular from the R/C guys to Kim's Go-Pro flight. What a smooth no-bounce landing. Ya, Rene, I got a little dizzy watching it. Even went full screen.
Me back in the 50's. That's 1950's. No dizzy's then and not many no-bounce landings. 80's now, that's 80 in years. Perhaps left to the younger fellers. But no..........
