The Traveling Propeller! Begins Now!
The Traveling Propeller
How this is going to work
As I have the propeller, I will mount the propeller on one of my engines and maybe even start it up. After I do that, I will post my pictures and maybe a video in the Where has the Traveling Propeller Been? section. I will then sign the card included with the prop. After I sign the card and place the prop back into the box, I will drop it into a bubble mailer or small shipping box and send it to the next person on the list!
Below is the list of locations (in a order for easiest shipping rounds).
In Americas

•Jaspur_x--Shanksville, Pa

•microflitedude--Columbia (Matt didn't say, cant be far from Rusty in Columbia), South Carolina
•crankbndr--Homestead, FL
•fit90--Naples, FL
•Mud--San Diego, Ca
In Europe
•GermanBeez--Bavaria, Germany
•hlsat--Greece (really didn't say where in Greece)
•ideeman1994--Rixensart, Belgium
•mr_cox--Netherlands (didn't say where, could possibly change shipping order)
•nitroairplane--London, England
•John Goddard--London, England
•ivanhoe--Dungiven, Northern Ireland

I will draw lines in the map as the prop goes around. In order for me to be able to do that, I will need to know once the prop is sent to the next person.

Re: The Traveling Propeller! Begins Now!
okay, so what do we do with hlsat?
haven't seen him around the forum for quite some time now.
if we dont get any response from him in like two weeks, should is end it to the next person on the list?

Me either. I'm figuring if everyone keeps it for a few days, Spring will be upon us about the time it gets to me. I'm number 10 or thereabouts.nitroairplane wrote:cannot freakin' wait!

Re: The Traveling Propeller! Begins Now!
OK, after being busy for the last few weeks and not finding good time to take the prop to the post office, I am sending it out tomorrow! Just so everyone knows, it is going out TOMORROW! It has been put off too long and not it is bothering me so I am finding time to bring it in. I have had it packaged up for 2 weeks now and it is time to run it there!
Re: The Traveling Propeller! Begins Now!
Let the tour begin! I already have a couple of pretty candidates to mount it on when it arrives. One of them is in my avie.
Please refresh me; what size prop is it? The reason I ask is I want to try flying some wood props, but all I can find are too long.
I want some typical Cox sizes like that one. And I want to be tuned up for when my time to fly the sacred TP comes.

I should probably say that the prop has been sent out and is now heading to Neenah, WI where Jason_WI is.

Re: The Traveling Propeller! Begins Now!
You will want to sign that little card below your location. My handwriting is bad so I'm sure no one else here can beat it (please don't make it a contest to see who has the worst handwriting). This little card will be displayed in the display box along with the prop. The card was printed with my inkjet printer so try not to get the card wet otherwise the ink will bleed.
