Be careful Fred what you wish for, I have thousands of photographs most of which would grow old here in a hurry. I love showing off my collection, but I have to be quite discrete in doing so. Doesn't matter much anyway, most to my profound regret are gone now. But I have retained a select few and keep the memories of the rest.
The photos that I do post are usually shortly deleted. They are not relevant to this forum and only interest a few.
I would love to see what you are willing to share.

This is the last one I spent some Christmas money on.
Rifle, Number 5, Mark 1. Caliber .303 British. Dated 5/46.
Beautiful rifle! My next, and possibly last rifle will probably be an m-1917.

You have to remedy this. It is as bad as having an airplane that you don't fly.

Tula too, but not so many as Izhevsk. The M-44 a M-38 with a bayonet. Again, yours looks exceptionally nice. Many of these were beat to death. The last M-44's that I got were so deteriorated that they are unsafe to shoot.
Years ago AIM offered M-91's made in the satellite countries, all different in some regard and uniquely marked. I ordered a set including a sniper version. I have disassembled and cleaned (cosmoline is such nasty stuff) so many Mosin's that I just left these as found and I have passed a whole lot of 7.62X54R's down bores that I feel no desire to shoot them, besides it hurts.

Re: I spent some Christmas money!
Bob in rural WVA is probably OK with some of these post on CEF...
BUT I strongly urge others who are not in secure locations, to NOT brag about or post photos of extensive gun collections
I had a local buddy robbed at gun point of his entire collection 65 rifles and hand guns----and NONE of it ever recovered
He was selling a 30-06 on Craig list with background photos of his gun room....prospective seller (Hispanic) arrives at his home....fondled the rifle lovingly...inserted a bullet, tied my friend up, and just took his time loading it all into his truck and drove off
Local sheriff suspect it all went across the border
I yack a lot about my collection on other sites... BUT I have most every site locating me focused many miles away
I never see anything from my home... we always meet at my local gun store....and I am always armed.... and a dear friend close at hand
back to the cool collection...Bob I am green with serious envy

Re: I spent some Christmas money!
Good point! In my town they kill people for a cell phone on Craigslist. When I do sell a firearm I take it to the local gun or pawn store.
I don't leave the house unarmed, and if they ever get in the house forgetaboutit!! But they could always get the jump on ya like happened to your friend.

Re: I spent some Christmas money!
Good words of caution Fred, and I am always careful. In all my years I have never had a problem.
Crime free neighborhood here, dead-end street and gun loving neighbors but none have ever seen my locked gun-room. I no longer sell any and probably never will again. Don't need to and space is not a problem. Son will continue.
No kids in the house and loaded protection is always just a few steps away. Funny, this is the only place that I feel secure enough to post pictures and discuss my collection. But, usually after a few hours most of my pictures magically disappear. Then again, we all know the internet................
Bob
PS: Most thieves, tough guys, etc. would be embarrassed to own any of my firearms. Not a Rambo weapon in the bunch.

Re: I spent some Christmas money!
Bob exactly what i was saying... CEF is such a low explored site (for of topic discussions) I doubt much of any BOT or other lurker would even know we discuss other topics like guns...so low danger IMO
And I already knew you were to type to be-savvy enough to not expose your self and collections if there was a real threat
I also was confident you are bright enough to provide for self internal security
I got robbed at gun point way back in 1970 working a 7/11.... it is just cash or stuff...take it and leave me the hell alone
I bet your collection is well insured
mine is
One of these days I will stop playing with insanity like Alexa and actually get serious with home cameras and other security efforts....nice problem free rural living dies invite serious complacency

Yes, the 91 sniper. Enemy at the Gates. A great movie that in my opinion is more authentic than any other ever made. Jude Law I believe was in it. Dueled with a snipered 98K.
You have some very nice rifles there. The 30/40 Krag another that escaped my grasp, although I researched it thoroughly. I customized my 91/41 Carcano 6.5 shortly after I bought it in a department store for $9.95 back in 1963. Wish I hadn't.

My dad did the same thing to the 1903 Springfield he got cheap. Modernized the stock and drilled/tapped for a scope mount. Used it for hunting many years. He also remembers getting the black tip surplus 30-06 for 50 cents a box. Could to shoot right through a 1.25" thick grader blade from 100 yds with those.

Re: I spent some Christmas money!
I was going to sporterize an Endfield .303 so I could use it as a hunting rifle. The problem was it was a matching serial number rifle down to the magazine. I tried to use a clamp scope and keep it as is, but it kept popping off every time I fired a shot. Traded it for a Remington .270.
I regret that now.

I like a lot. Is that a bump stock on that? Totally awesome, and one day I would like to try one of those out!

Yep, slidefire. They are toys, some accuracy can be achieved but they are really just a novelty item. They are fun but its gets pricey when you are dumping 100 rounds of 5.56 in less than 8 seconds. I don't use it often.
