Cox Tee Dee .049 Rebuild ...
Hi new here and like the site a lot so far. Just one quick questions for anyone here. Does the backplate on a Cox Tee Dee .049 supposed to have a gasket on it when screwed into the back of the crankcase. Thanks in advance for your helps guys !!!!!

welcome to the forum!! As far as I can see there is no gasket for the rear crankcase cover and engine. If you are detecting air leaks there a small amount of thread sealer should seal it up, but I've never had to do that.

WELCOME TO THE FORUM WV. FLYGUY!! The only gasket on that TD .049 is the head gasket, are you having some kind of issues with the running of it ?

Hi and thanks. No issues. Just rebuilding it and wasn't sure there was a gasket on the back. Wasn't one when I took apart but you never know if someone had mokeyed around with it before I got it. Thanks for the welcome my friend.
