Coffee talk in Long Island NY
One of the perks of my job is I get to meet some of you in person. I had a pleasant morning sitting with Bob (Dckrsn) over a cup of coffee. We talked about all kinds of things and lo and behold I realized he is just as nice of person in the flesh as he is online. I consider myself lucky to have met him. Maybe next time we can play with some engines or something along those lines. Thanks Bob for meeting up with me today!

Next time for sure, Ron. And for those of you who have never
met him, swell guy, and interesting to say the least. We could
(and will someday) talk for hours more. Best time I've had in a
while. Thanks for making the effort to connect, Ron.

Very VERY cool!!! Glad that you two got together! Great photo! thanks for sharing!
Re: Coffee talk in Long Island NY
It would definately be fun to run into or meet up with a fellow CEF member, but with the little travelling we do as well as few northern members, the chances to do so diminish for me. But glad the two of you were able to get together.

That's great. Nothing bett r than coffee and conversation with fellow modelers, or more specificity Cox Engine Forum members! Thanks for posting the picture and letting us know you got together.
Hey Ron, if you ever get sent to the Battle Creek ANG base in Battle Creek,Mi we could get together in the future?

I visited Sig Skyray (Greg) in his Florida flying field some time ago (my gosh...:it was 2 years ago)

But where has Greg disappeared from CEF? Anyone heard of him recently?

Not so much, need to drop 30lbs and stop smiling like a dweeb.
I do get around, not by choice though. I do enjoy meeting people it’s a perk of the job.

So that's what the Big Dickerson looks like! Lol. Me too, Bob, me too. Though I have had to force the vertical part for the last few weeks. Gett'n better now though. After going flying yesterday, I thought I was about crippled when I got up this morning, but it limbered up after a while.
That was a good flashback, the Link Andras posted above.
Love you guys, and I'll see you in a couple of months, Ron. We can do all the stuff I talk about and never follow through on.
