Cox Engines Forum EAST Meets WEST !
The camaraderie and wisdom-sharing in this forum is so cool and I'm grateful to have found it.
Nicholas and I were extremely honored to have a fellow CEF member out to our humble flying field last week and we wanted to share the occasion with you guys.
Andràs (CEF name Balogh)... ALL the way from Budapest, Hungary, was gracious enough to take time out of his busy Orlando and South Florida vacation itinerary to visit us for a flight up here in Lake Mary last week with his wife, Mariann.
This is the first CEF member I've had the pleasure of shaking hands with and we hope soon we can do more of that.
Thanks for visiting us Andràs & Mariann! Greg & Nicholas

That is the Power of this Forum and the hobby reaching out to you and your son , Andràs is a very knowledgeable man and has a great deal to share I am sure Ya'll had a great time . That is really nice to hear , when I get a better vehicle and some things figured out with where my expenses are I plan to get up to Rusty's part of the world S.C. and do some flying with him . I am sure he will fly circles around me but it is all about having Fun ! I see Nicholas is still flying , GREAT . Eric

Right Eric. It's all about the sharing of ideas and experiences. I've sure gotten a lot of support from CEF in a short time and hope to give back.
Nicholas is anxious to do a loop and I'm so glad the hobby is holding his interest. He wants to do another build too! Maybe this winter.

Re: Cox Engines Forum EAST Meets WEST !
It makes me happy to see members getting together for a fun afternoon. When I made the forum, I had no idea what it would become, didn't know if it would even take off but I envisioned it being a friendly place where members could learn, teach and share ideas about these engines and the hobby. Looks like you guys had a load of fun!

Thanks Greg, Mariann and I really enjoyed meeting you and Nicholas in the field (both have caused my jaws to drop because Nicholas is an excellent young pilot...and the field is one I could never even dream of in my neighborhood).
I am already down in Key West and will continue our ride on the Gulf coast of the peninsula in 2 days from now..yours is a beautiful country and I love driving around in any part of it.
Any CEF member ever being drifted to my part of the world, please send me a pm in advance to set up a short meeting and flying my R/C planes in the wilderness of Budapest outskirts...

Thanks Eric for calling me knowledgeable, in fact as a lone wolf in my neighborhood with COX addiction I picked up most of what you think makes me one here on CEF from you guys all...

Re: Cox Engines Forum EAST Meets WEST !
That's fantastic! When Mister Skyray told me Andras was coming to meet up and fly with them, I was thrilled for both... and just a little envious... In a good sort of way. I have had the pleasure of meeting several CEF members, and Andras is up there on my list of people I'd like to meet. What a great forum. What great fun.

You'll be welcome if you do. TD Bandit is coming for a visit next month and we're going to drive up to 1/2A Day in Huntersville.balogh wrote:Thanks Rusty it is really an honor to be on your list.
