Re: BH models Mosquito build
Tabs, good idea. Might have used them had I thought of it. Got the tanks on ebay. One left.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/1-2oz-2-Profile-Tank-and-Mounts-Control-Line-Balsa-Model-Airplane-Kap-Pak-V101-/232211678999?hash=item3610e50717:g:hMwAAOSwjDZYgYpK
I wired them on then soldered the twisted ends and epoxied the wires to the tank. First coat of primer this morning. Will let it air off for awhile sand lightly and apply a second coat.
Lot's to choose from, but base will be satin almond with maybe the olive drab. I primed a piece of luan (foreground) to test the compatibility with the Krylon before hitting the model with it.
I couldn't come up with a way to protect the hinges from the paint so I just covered them with scotch tape and hope for the best. I usually put the hinges in after I paint, but not this time. I will probably just paint the hinges during the last coat to pick up the edges.

Re: BH models Mosquito build
I have been trolling for spinners. Omni has some but I went to the Peoples Republic for these as they are a better fit. No adapter necessary here and @ $1.61 each with free shipping I ordered 6. Got more building to do.
These were a little more dear at $7.99 each with a discount for two. I like them better. I asked for the 5mm adapter, but they did not specify options.
