ebay regrets....... :(
15-20 years ago. What am I holding on to this stuff for? I'll never get into it again.
I kept all the ebay ad photos. Actually just a very small sample of the total. Live and learn.

Bob,
It's not like the things you bought lost value. If you can't use them, just sell them off and put the money to use for something that you can use.
I wouldn't be regretful, you made an investment. Sometimes you have to cash in though!

Yes. I did not need to sell them but we were getting ready to make a major move and I didn't want to have to pack and ship them. At the time I thought it fun and most sold for many times what I paid for them.

Don't feel bad Ron
I miss-understood the initial post also...in fact I was thinking Bob MISSED buying the Photoed E-bay items. Or lamenting How much he regretted accumulating all the dinky stuff instead of he passion for Enya's
I have never owned or physically seen a Cox TeeDee 0.010 the smallest in my hands being a 0.020 and recently padded on several sales for them for only $50 after years of seeing $100+ prices for the dinky engine
If the Traveling one ever gets moving I will finally get to actually see what all the hub bub is about (OK I get it...IT IS REAL REAL small)
But a guy with ever increasing bad eyesight and now very shaky hands... I am very intimidated with the Traveling 0.010 as I certainly do NOT want to damage it

Yeah, I do have this unique way of making myself unclear, but I'm working 79 year old brain cells here. What a minute, reportedly we regenerate all our cells every seven years....
But yes, just to be clear I wish I had kept all those engines and accessories. Hind sight being 20/20. 20/30 in my corrected left eye. Right eye gets done in less than 48 hours.

I absolutely subscribe to "Cliff Calvin's" assertion the drinking beer makes you smarter
It is a classic " Cheers" comedy bit--- and should not be too had to You-Tube the segment
Others may correct me to note that W.C Fields in the 40s did the bit or later in the 60s Buddy Hackett and Dean Martin had a variation
But Cliff Clavin was so serious with delivery of the story/logic to Norm...the line that I spit beer out my nose and fell to the ground laughing

Bob, but you have a chance to buy again. There are many opportunities in the United States, there are many sellers with incredible pieces. It would be necessary for you to see what it is that you want to have again and get into the campaign to buy back.
Here it is very different, there is nothing and what there is is very limited, I am always attentive to see if you put something interesting, but in your case, I just think that in a matter of days, you can get back mushas stuff that sold!

One of my most favorite Cliff /Norm Quotes is: "how you doing today?" I feel like a fire hydrant and the worlds full of dogs.

Thanks for the compassion Mauricio. I have been side tracked on Enya's lately, but I never lost my love and respect for Cox engines.
I did not sell all of them keeping many of the later cardboard boxed examples. What I regret and miss most are the blister packs and crystals that I let go. I have recently purchased Bernies Limited's and a RR1 plus a lot of used Cox engines so I'm still in the game.

Bob, I'm going to give you some advice, take your time and build some model and the one I leave in the video, you'll enjoy the flight very much and meanwhile, if there is an interesting engine, you will know better You really want to have it or let it go.
Enjoy friend of the engines you have, I do that, I even start them in the backyard, I accompany you with a good beer and it is for me a beautiful pleasure of life!
Or why not, something like that?

Thanks, I am always amazed at how well your engines run and throttle down to an idle. Also, that moment when you hand launch then quickly find and operate the controls on your R/C transmitter. It takes concentration and skill.
I just started this Black Hawk model Mosquito yesterday, but it will be powered by two C/L Enya .09's.

Bob, I'm glad you start with that Mosquito project and the Enya engines, it would be very nice for you to photograph the construction steps and upload them to the forum to share with us all your progress.
Many years ago, when I was about 12 years old, UControl hut but now it is almost impossible, I get very dizzy and it affects me. A few months ago a friend seduced the handle of a Zero with Cox 049 engine, I vole it and remember my boyhood, but at the end of the flight after about 6 minutes, I could hardly stand up! Haha ...
As for you to be surprised with the regulation of the engines by means of the ring of speed or regulation, there are many points to take into account, the type of fuel, the amount of nitro, the propeller and in the case of Pee Wee .020 , To the distance of the hoop G holding the valve flapper, I have dedicated a lot of time and I think I have found for some engines the ideal of performance.
I am sending you a hug and I will be watching your Mosquito building!
