That throttle ring you sent me took almost 3 weeks. The Fed Ex folks prob have your engine, if not I am sure something can be done, speaking for myself here but, I would be fine if Tach Race was postponed until your engine arrives.

Nah I don't think that is fair.
But Jared and Keiths items sent the day before this both arrived a good while ago .

It IS our Tach Race after all, and we can always change things if the group as a whole decides so. I'd be sick if your engine showed up on Monday, after a good-faith lead time of 2 1/2 weeks.

We could poll the players, and I'll happily go with whatever they choose. My schedule is pretty flexible. Crankbender, Paul, and Matt's are still out there somewhere also (and some others...don't have my note pad handy) and, especially with the international nature of this deal, we may have to make some allowances.

You all check in and let me know what you think.

Hi Kim you have my engines, my alias is Douglas Veazey.
Looks like the fuel melted the bubble wrap, i did not think of that when i packed them.
The Black Widows pickup tube is off to starboard, dont think I got all the fuel out of the tank.

I'm just an interested observer, so I don't have a dog in this hunt. However, this is a tach race and not a postal race. I would like to see everyone who prepared an engine have the chance to get them run and not be penalized due to a situation totally outside of their control.

No need to apologize, it's through no fault of your own. I am fine with a delay which is why I suggested it. I have other engines to mess with in thr meantime.

Kim, if we do go down this road will it cause any issues with your personal plans or the plans of those helping you?

YES! Figure on getting some counseling on the other side of this deal !!!! This is mighty heavy stuff for a Redneck that is used to being alone in the world of Cox Engines !!!!! To have these Tricked Out Little Monsters show up at the Skunk Works..well...good thing I'm friends with a couple Doctors...Thank The Lord for R/X Sample Packs !!!!!

Here's our situation, guys. Nitroairplane mailed his entry two and a half weeks ago...what should have been plenty of lead time to get it here...but I still haven't received it. Maybe the holidays played a part in slowing it up, so if we do this again next year, perhaps February might be a better time to hold it.

In the meantime, my helpers and I are willing to wait another week for Nitro's engine IF that is good with the Players. Nitro mailed it in good faith, with what looked like plenty of time, and it's still on it's way here. Could you please comment with your opinions?
