Happy holidays

Happy holidays
It was the night before Christmas, and all through the house,
not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.
I anxiously waited for that day to get here,
to get that model airplane in the air oh so clear.
To get that dizzy feeling that I really did crave,
to fly it around, oh how I'd be so brave.
To fly around near the speed of light,
how it would make me smile, with such great delight.
That smell of nitro would cling in the air,
all over my hands and all over my hair.
Then out the window I heard such a clatter,
I dropped my remote to see what was the matter.
It was that fat man from up north of Washington state,
would he have something for me? Wouldn't that be great!
I screamed with delight, and shouted with glee,
a brand new Cox model airplane, all just for me.
Now I'm so happy, and ready for flight.
to all a Merry Christmas, and to all a good night.
Wishing all a safe and wonderful holiday season.

Yes Fun read
Thanks
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to come
too much fun with grand kids last night so missed midnight Mass
Off to church with the whole family in a few, but checking in to see all sorts of glad tidings and neat deliveries
Grateful, Thankful, and Nostalgic
