Miss Bardahl P-51
I have never seen one of these. Was it a production airplane or was it repainted?

Re: Miss Bardahl P-51
I'd say that someone customized it.. but it does have a factory-look to it; being that the inside of the cockpit and cowling are matching yellow. Was there a P51 molded in yellow? Maybe they scaled a set of decals for it?
This full-scale airplane looks like the subject that they were modelling.

Martin Hepperle data base search shows multiple versions of the P-51. i.e.:
#7650 P51-D Red Baron. Or closer to this model
#6600 P51-B Bendix Racer offered in Red or Yellow. It could be the yellow version with the paint modifications to the Miss Bardahl

Re: Miss Bardahl P-51
Theses were an early version of the Cox Mustang, as well as an earlier version of the Mustang, note canopy and landing gear.
