Wow, look at that! Even blood-letting can't guarantee a vote

Lol Rod, we would need more blood and at least a chunk of skin curling up on the table.

This really is a good batch of photos. Technically they are all excellent. Good focus. Colors seem on. No funky unintended shadows or glare.
Having 10 pictures in a set that are quality work is something good. Glad to see the effort put in.
Good subjects all around also helps, and makes it very hard to choose.
Phil

Thanks chaps, I enjoy this competition every month and all the entries are superb and carefully crafted.
I have mentioned before that I am a "snapper" and not a photographer and so I put this win down to my new camera.
Lots of buttons, dials ............. and a 483 page manual. The chances of me reading that are less than slim! I have managed to set it up so that it is automatic and that sums up my skill level!
This engine is superb and as Jacob mentioned - the cylinder head is not Cox but has been machined in Cox fashion and has a "true" diesel cylinder with a contra piston. The piston and con rod are Cox.
The cylinder head can be unscrewed and replaced with any "Bee" cylinder and glow head.
The crankcase is shortened , bored and bushed to take a "Bee" crankshaft.
Here is one that wasn't dieselised and has flown courtesy of Ron Cribbs.
All made from standard bits and pieces out of the parts box with a little machining.
At least six of the engines in this months pictures are modified in some way and it it just goes to show the flexibility and ingenuity of our members.
Thanks again for the votes and I had difficulty making a choice again - each picture had its own merits.
